In 2009, the Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley awarded a $1000 scholarship to Jenny Jao, a sophomore at USC majoring in business administration with an emphasis in investment banking. Jenny had previously interned in Spain, and interned in China in 2009.  She also has been active in student government at the Marshall School of Business at USC and has volunteered as a coach with Special Olympics.
Here, she receives her check from Club President Cindy Kittle.

The scholarships may be used at any college, university, or institution for the third or fourth year of study in an accredited program which will result in a business-related degree.
Applicants apply to their local Zonta Club. Club winners progress to District Level, then to International Level. Twelve women will be chosen to receive the $5,000 Zonta International Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships.
Jane M. Klausman Scholarships work to support women who demonstrate outstanding potential in business-related fields.
Application deadline for the 2010 Scholarships is April 1, 2010. Please download the 2010 Klausman application here. Local scholarship will be awarded in May, 2010.
