Funding Local Projects
The Zonta Club of the Santa Clarita Valley Foundation has implemented a grant process which encourages applications from local organizations for larger gifts, increases emphasis on our mission of “advancing the status of women,” and provides for greater accountability with regard to how the funds are used. Our 2006 grant recipients were the Santa ClaritaValley Youth Project, the Girl Scouts, Joshua Tree Council, the Foundation for Children's Dental Health, and the SCV Committee on Aging/SCV Senior Center.
Requests for 2007 Community Grants are now being evaluated; the deadline for submission of requests was January 31, 2007.
