The Carmen Sarro Award
"for Improving the Status of Women through Community Service"
Each year,
Zonta invites other community service
organizations to nominate one of their own
members who has contributed to the improvement
of the status of women through volunteer
service to their organization. Each nominee is
recognized at our annual "Women in Service"
(formerly "Status of Women") Celebration in
early Spring. Our committee selects one of the
nominees to receive the coveted "Carmen Sarro
Award" for outstanding community
service.
