Community Service in the SCV
Over the 37 years of our history, the Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley has provided funding to a large number of community organizations and scholarships to local women seeking further education. Even more importantly, members give thousands of hours annually in hands-on service to local organizations as well as to our own community service projects.
Funding Community Projects to Advance the Status of Women
The Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley Foundation awards grants to community agencies to emphasize our mission of “advancing the status of women.”
“Hands On” Community Service
Look behind the scenes at the larger community service organizations and the major contributions of Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley will be readily apparent. Zontians serve on boards of directors and chair fund- raising events and committees for a number of organizations, including Boys & Girls Club, Samuel Dixon Family Health Center, Domestic Violence Center, Foundation for Children’s Dental Health, Child & Family Center, Circle of Hope, and Senior Center/Committee on Aging, and many more.
