One hundred years ago, a small group of pioneering women came together in Buffalo, New York with a vision to help all women realize greater equality while using their individual and collective expertise in service to their community. Their vision became Zonta International, an organization that has grown to more than 29,000 members in 63 countries, working together to make gender equality a reality for women and girls worldwide.
Join Zonta International’s 29,000 members in nearly 1,200 Zonta clubs in 63 countries as we celebrate 100 years of service and advocacy on behalf of women and girls worldwide. Our centennial anniversary is also a time to honor excellence and achievements within our own organization and to recognize other organizations and individuals that are true champions for gender equality.
The Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley brings these elements of service, advocacy, and awareness of our international mission to life in ways that directly serve our community. Providing hands-on service delivery while funding the work, dreams, and goals of others to improve the lives of women. Our members find the right niche to meet their interests, time commitment, and financial support. Along the way, our community and world benefit from our efforts. We offer several scholarships and community grants to women and girls in the Santa Clarita Valley. Plus, we have many service projects to better the lives of women and girls; like “Girl’s Robotics” at the Boys and Girls Club and LifeForward, a monthly workshop to give awareness and life-building skills to women.
