Studio 74
How to celebrate fifty years of amazing Zonta service and leadership to the Santa Clarita Valley – a Golden Anniversary? How do we share the story of our impact on the community, and how do we have fun and joy in the telling of the story? Those were the questions facing the four “Chair Leaders” of the event committee, Nicole Miller, Di Thompson, Laura Troost, and Lois Bauccio, and their nineteen committee members. They selected a disco theme for a 70s event, since Zonta SCV was chartered in 1974. They called it “Studio 74 – a Tribute to the Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley.” It would be held at The Oaks Club of Valencia on Saturday evening, September 14th, 2024.
